Rights and Obligations of Certification Clients

Clients who utilize the product certification services of PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia are bound by the rights and obligations that apply throughout the certification process, until the SNI Certificate is issued and throughout its validity period.

  • Pay all fees incurred for the implementation of Certification Work as determined by LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia, including surveillance (if required by the Certification Scheme), verification of complaints, and evaluations for expanding the certification scope.

  • Submit certification application documents in accordance with the requirements of the Certification Scheme to LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia.

  • Be available for visits by audit teams and/or sample collection officers appointed by LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia for products to be certified.

  • Provide access to audit teams and/or sample collection officers to locations, documents, records, equipment, personnel, and subcontractors related to products covered by the Certification Work for evaluation, surveillance, and/or verification of complaints regarding compliance with certification and/or product requirements.

  • Maintain and control the conformity of products covered by Certification Work to be produced or supplied in accordance with the same characteristics as the certified product samples by LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia, ensuring compliance with relevant SNI and applicable regulations.

  • Implement changes to certification and/or product requirements when such changes are communicated by LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia.

  • Ensure the SNI Certificate is used in a manner that does not damage the reputation of LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia and refrain from making statements about product certification deemed misleading or unauthorized by LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia.

  • Take actions as required by LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia, including any necessary measures related to reports of non-compliance in maintaining product conformity.

  • Take actions as required by LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia, including any necessary measures related to suspension, withdrawal, or termination of certification by LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia.

  • Cease using any publications referencing the SNI Certificate if it is suspended, withdrawn, terminated, or has expired.

  • Provide a complete copy of the SNI Certificate if it is shared with other parties.

  • Make statements regarding certification only within the scope granted by LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia.

  • Reference certified products in any communication media only in accordance with the provisions of the Certification Scheme.

  • Maintain records of all complaints related to SNI compliance and make them available to LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia upon request; (1) take appropriate action on complaints and any product deficiencies affecting compliance with certification and/or product requirements, and (2) document actions taken.

  • Notify LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia without delay of any legal, commercial, organizational, or ownership changes affecting documents submitted during the certification application.

  • Notify LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia without delay of any organizational or management changes related to key management, decision-makers, or technical staff that could affect the Client’s ability to meet certification and/or product requirements.

  • Notify LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia without delay of any product or production method changes that result in deviations from the characteristics of the certified product sample.

  • Notify LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia without delay of any changes to contact addresses and production locations of certified products.

  • Notify LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia without delay of any major changes to the quality management system implemented by the Client.

  • Receive services for product certification in accordance with the provisions of the Certification Scheme from LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia.

  • Obtain an SNI Certificate if the product is assessed to meet the certification and product requirements set by LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia.

  • Submit requests for suspension, addition, or reduction of the certification scope to LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia.

  • Submit complaints, appeals, and dispute resolution requests to LSPro PT Prolab Sertifikasi Indonesia.

DOMESTIC MANUFACTURING COMPANIES THAT PRODUCE PRODUCTS TO BE MARKETED IN INDONESIA ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS FOR IMPORTERS

1. letter of appointment or letter of power of attorney from the producer to the importer or official representative in Indonesia 2. Importer legality (NIB, APIU, SIUP, NPWP, HAKI)

Note: Often, LSPRO requires an audit of an overseas factory. Alternatively, the principal must provide complete documentation.

OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE (Brand principal)

OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE OR PRINCIPAL OF A FOREIGN BRAND THAT APPOINTS A LOCAL PARTY TO APPLY FOR CERTIFICATION. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS FOR OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE CERTIFICATION.

1. Power of attorney from the principal (stating that the representative office has the right to submit an SNI application)
2. Legality of representative offices in Indonesia (NIB, SKDP) 3. Product technical documents 4. Production documents and quality systems from the principal

Note: proof of cooperation between the principal and the representative office is required, and a witness audit may be conducted at the overseas factory.
